Psychotherapy
I worked in Social Services for a total of 25 years. I qualified as a psychodynamic psychotherapist in April 2000 and gained an MA in Psychotherapy and Healing through the Society of Psychology and Healing with Middlesex University in January 2004. I work using mainly Jungian psychology, but have also studied others in the psychodynamic tradition such as Freud, Klein and Winnicott.
Psychotherapy sessions are one hour and I work in an interactive and flexible way with each client according to their needs. A session might therefore include meditation, visualisation, a short healing, and work with dreams or the inner child as well as discussion and analysis of the various issues presented. I prefer to work with people who have a spiritual awareness.
